Calendars and planners
Printed tools designed to organize, plan, and inspire every day.
Printing formats adapted to your needs
Calendars and planners need to balance structure, readability, and durability. They are made to be handled often, written in, carried around, and consulted every day. The right format, binding, and paper help ensure pages are easy to use, layouts stay clear, and the finished product feels practical as well as polished.
Some projects are designed for desks or walls, while others are meant to travel from meeting to meeting or fit easily into a bag. The best printing choices depend on how the calendar or planner will be used, how much writing space is needed, and how the pages need to function over time.

Looking for

solution?
Whether you are creating a personal agenda or a custom organizational tool, our team is here to help you choose the right format, paper, and binding for your project.
With a wide range of trim sizes, binding options, and paper stocks available, you have the flexibility to create a product that feels useful, durable, and aligned with your vision.
Choosing the right binding and paper for your calendar or planner
The right format depends first and foremost on how the calendar or planner will be used. Wire’O binding is often ideal because it allows pages to turn easily and lie flat, making writing and consultation more comfortable. Saddle-stitched formats can work well for lighter calendars with lower page counts, while softcover formats are a good option for planners that need a more book-like feel.
Paper choice also plays an important role. Offset paper is often preferred for planners because it is easy to write on and reduces smudging. Matte papers offer a clean, soft finish with low glare, while glossy papers can be a strong choice for calendars that rely heavily on photography or visual impact.
The right combination of binding and paper helps make the product easier to use every day while giving it the finish and durability your project requires.

FAQ about calendars and planners
How do I lay out my novel/non-fiction book?
To ensure that your book is produced in the most professional and aesthetic way, ideally your files should be prepared in advanced layout software such as Adobe InDesign. Thanks to our Graphic design & page layout service, one of our graphic designers can help you with this.
Alternatively, an online tool such as Canva can be used to create relatively high quality print files.
If your book contains images, avoid using Microsoft Word as much as possible.
What support do you offer in preparing my print-ready PDF files?
Once your quotation has been accepted, our pre-press team will be on hand to examine your files and give you advice on how to provide us with 100% compliant files.
What's the difference between a sheet and a page?
A sheet is a physical piece of paper that always has two pages: one on the front and one on the back.
At Rapido, we always express ourselves in terms of the number of pages on our quotes and in our communications, never in terms of the number of sheets.
What type of files do you need to print my novel/non-fiction book?
Like all professional printers, we need 2 separate PDF files: one for the inside of the book, the other for the assembled cover (except for books in spiral/wire’o binding, for which only 1 PDF file is required).
These PDFs must comply with a certain number of conditions concerning presentation, format, fonts, bleeds, image resolution and colour profile. For a full list of our technical requirements, visit our Printing guide section.
How do I calculate the spine width of my book?
The value of the spine depends on the number of pages in your book and the paper chosen; it is indicated on all our quotes. And don’t hesitate to use our free online spine calculator!

Their team has ‘saved’ us on several occasions because they carefully check PDFs before printing. Which is surprisingly not the case everywhere! As a result, we’ve avoided a number of blunders that would have made people laugh… but not us!
