Since 2013, Rapido Books has offered printing solutions that allow publishers to produce only the quantities they truly need and reprint quickly when necessary. Year after year, this flexible approach has proven effective in reducing overproduction, paper and ink waste, and the resources required for transportation, storage, and even the destruction of unsold books.
For reprints, we can print the exact quantity you need, even when it falls below our initial minimum of 24 copies. This helps eliminate unnecessary waste while ensuring that every reader can receive a copy.
Most importantly, all our books are printed and bound entirely in Quebec. We offer a selection of recycled papers and papers sourced from sustainably managed forests. Since 2024, we have also used a range of 100% vegetable-based inks.

Short-run printing
With our exceptional responsiveness and production times of just 3 to 10 business days, short-run printing allows you to print only the copies you truly need, exactly when you need them.
This prevents you from unnecessarily tying up capital in large print runs that may remain in storage for months. This flexible approach significantly reduces excess inventory, warehousing costs, and the financial risks associated with unsold books, while keeping your titles continuously available to booksellers, distributors, and readers.
You can adjust quantities more easily based on actual sales, forecasts, and changes in demand. With fast, local production, you can reprint your titles more quickly than ever without having to choose between running out of stock and ordering more copies than you need.
FlexRapido volume discounts
FlexRapido gives you access to valuable volume discounts by combining your successive reprints of 100 copies or more. Rather than printing a large quantity of a single title all at once to secure a better price, you can reprint the same title several times over an extended period while benefiting from increasingly favourable volume pricing.
Example
Suppose you would like to order 200 copies of a title for which Rapido has already printed a total of 700 copies across previous print runs. The unit price for your new 200-copy order would be based on the 900-copy pricing tier!
